The movie is based on the 2011 memoir Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love by Matthew Logelin. Kevin Hart playing the role of Logelin as a widower father of a daughter. It is based on the true story of Matt Logelin. In this movie, there’s love and happiness, and sadness and death, and that’s what remains. Matt Logelin and Liz Logelin were together for 12 years. They got married in 2005 and after some time settled down in Los Angeles. In 2008 Liz Logelin gave birth to a girl. They named their girl a Madeline. After Twenty-seven hours of Maddy’s birth, Liz unexpectedly died. She was leaving her husband to raise their daughter as a single father.
